Meisterklasse (Masterclass) Kolinex – the perfect Kolinsky hair imitation

In order to avoid supply shortages and price increases and to secure a constant quality, we presented five years ago our Meisterklasse (Masterclass) Kolinex series made of 100% synthetic fibers. 

This very special and advanced synthetic hair blend stands out with an excellent elasticity, color holding capacity and shape retention nearly equal to natural Kolinsky.

By using various fiber diameters, lengths, tapered and even crimped fiber, we can manufacture the perfect brush tip and create even the typical “belly” of a natural Kolinsky brush.

Thereby, our Kolinex hair is the perfect imitation of the natural hair, optically as well as in regards to the application.

Now we are extending our very successful Kolinex brush family with the following series with shorter hair lengths:

Kolinex round, extra short, series 9305  size 3/0, 00, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6

Kolinex flat, extra short, series      XXXX size 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16

With these extra short brushes, you can draw more exact brush strokes and benefit of a better tip control and higher shape retention.

Both new series are made in Germany and available with short, quality varnished handles made of FSC certified beech wood.
